Artist Statement

'Wave Street' captures the view as the coastline opens up at the bottom of the street. Miami Hill runs into Burleigh Headland, fading all the way toward Coolangatta. It is mid-morning on the Gold Coast, which really means about 8am: coffees in hand, the sun already warm, the day already moving.

The closer you get, the more the small details come to life. A woman under a yellow umbrella absorbed in her book, two surfers pausing mid-conversation before heading out, seagulls hanging around at the waterline. Close enough to share the space, far enough to keep it quiet.

Fine art print or canvas?

Canvas has a beautiful textured surface that gives the work a soft, organic finish which is closest in feel to the original painting. Best choice if you plan to float frame or stretch your print and my favourite choice for an art print (you almost can't tell the difference from the original!).

Photo rag is printed on museum-grade archival paper with exceptional detail and tonal depth. Best choice if you plan to glass frame. It also gives you more framing options to work with.

Framing and finishing

Framing locally is easier than it sounds! I include a framing instruction card with every unframed order so you can hand it straight to your framer and let them take care of the rest. Most turn it around in under a week.

Please note framed prints are only available in Australia.

Lead time

We ship orders based on order received and work as quickly as possible, however please allow approximately 6 weeks for unframed orders to be sent and approximately 8 weeks for framed orders.

Shipping and delivery

All unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube, tracked and insured, directly to your door, wherever you are. Australian framed orders are delivered ready to hang.

A note for international collectors: Your print ships from Australia with free worldwide shipping included. Depending on where you live, your local customs authority may apply a small import tax on arrival, this varies by country and is collected by your courier. It's typically a small percentage of the order value and is standard for international art purchases. DM me if you have any questions before ordering.
