Artist Statement
'On Holliday' is a tale of the everyday holiday feeling of the Gold Coast: warm sun, naps on the sand, surf checks, a morning coffee in hand. A broad, sand-toned field of negative space holds a single vignette of beach life. Long shadows fix the scene to 8am, holding the quiet energy of a day just beginning.
From a distance the piece reads as calm, minimal and contemporary. Up close it shifts into micro realism, finely observed detail at an unexpected scale, rewarding the viewer who leans in. It is built around a balance I'm always chasing: open space paired with an intimate story that asks you to come closer.

Canvas has a beautiful textured surface that gives the work a soft, organic finish which is closest in feel to the original painting. Best choice if you plan to float frame or stretch your print and my favourite choice for an art print (you almost can't tell the difference from the original!).
Photo rag is printed on museum-grade archival paper with exceptional detail and tonal depth. Best choice if you plan to glass frame. It also gives you more framing options to work with.

Framing locally is easier than it sounds! I include a framing instruction card with every unframed order so you can hand it straight to your framer and let them take care of the rest. Most turn it around in under a week.
Please note framed prints are only available in Australia.

We ship orders based on order received and work as quickly as possible, however please allow approximately 6 weeks for unframed orders to be sent and approximately 8 weeks for framed orders.

All unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube, tracked and insured, directly to your door, wherever you are. Australian framed orders are delivered ready to hang.
A note for international collectors: Your print ships from Australia with free worldwide shipping included. Depending on where you live, your local customs authority may apply a small import tax on arrival, this varies by country and is collected by your courier. It's typically a small percentage of the order value and is standard for international art purchases. DM me if you have any questions before ordering.
